Entry fee is only $40 per team and includes awesome T-shirts, chow at the after party and entry into
the super-cool drawings, as long as you're registered by September 19th. If you want to sign up late
(naughty, naughty), you'll have to pay $50, and we can't guarantee you'll get one of the kickin' shirts.
Check-in begins at 11:15 a.m. in the atrium of the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center.
Every team of two must check in together before the race begins at
noon. At check-in, racers receive Cedar Valley Chase T-shirts, a map with a list of the challenge
locations and a passport, which must be validated at the challenges by a judge in order to confirm
completion of the challenge. Once checked in, racers are not allowed to leave the premises until
the noon start time.
At the start, racers will head to any of the challenge locations where there are tasks waiting to
be completed. At each challenge, there will be judges that run each station. They will instruct you,
make sure you don't cheat, witness your completion of the challenge and verify your success in your
passport.
Racers must complete a required number of challenges, have proper validation from the judges and
return to the finish line in order to win. Forged passport validation or failure to follow the rules
will result in the immediate disqualification of your team.
Grand prizes are awarded to the top three teams. All other teams that finish and attend the after
party will be entered into drawings for other great prizes. But don't dine and dash, because you
have to be present to win.
Proceeds will be donated to the Cedar Valley United Way.
